This school has a long way to go to be considered above average. There is a lot of conflict between teachers and students, students and students, and teachers to teachers. Rarely is the conflict resolved without some type of whiplash to the child and the child's parents. Plus, the teachers and administrators seem to have doubts about the reliability and honesty of their own students and parents. However, when a misconduct was found out, the administration acted quickly to ensure actions were taken to prevent it from happening again. Most teachers are good about reporting the daily grades of the students on gradespeed - a website that allows you to monitor your child's progress. have had two children in this school for four years total. It is slowly improving.

I have been pleased with the quality and care the teaching staff. My child knows if she is not doing work I will be informed. The school offers a quality academic program and provides endless options for extracurricular activities. The superintendent has an open door policy. The kids here are working about a year ahead of the school district we left in Washington state. The kids learn writing skills and are challenged to do the best work possible. My daughter participates in UIL, athletics, and theater. All 3 programs have been quality.
