Groves Elementary is awful. My child's teacher is very polite and very well-educated, but it seems her hands are tied as she does not have the support she needs from Groves leadership. The Principal is so concerned with how the school rates overall that she refuses to repair issues at the core. She would rather report the symptoms of an issue to the parent and not validate the parent's concern and willingness to address the issue once its reported. Aside from the teacher, I dread having to interface with any of the staff at this institution. They are rude, belittling, judgemental, unapologetic and intimidating. My child is bullied here and the staff ignores it. The staff bullies me, too. It makes me sick.

Groves Elementary is a wonderful school. We have high standards and expectations for our students, and they meet those standards year after year. The staff is very supportive of one another. We have a great group of parents who stay involved in a variety of activities through out the year. We also have a new principal this year that always puts the students best interest first.

The quality of teaching and support here is wonderful. The counselors and principal are wonderful and helpful people. The is a great campus for students and teachers. The academic programs are definately beneficial to the students. Sports are well-led by the PE teachers. Parent involvement is very high.

I think that Groves Elementary is a wonderful school where children can learn and excel. The teachers and staff are all nice and friendly and have the children's best interest in mind.
