The school academics overall is satisfactory. I think some of their practices are a little outdated compared with Cyfair's current curriculum. The Principal needs to be more involved with the instruction on the campus. When asked questions about the academic instruction on the campus he does not appear knowledgeable. Even I know terms like DRA, Guided Reading, and Small Group Instruction. He appears to be more of a disciplinarian, not an instructional leader.
My son attended Ermel in K - 3rd grade. I loved the school, all of the teachers knew him and he was a star student there.
This is the worst school I have ever encountered in my entire life..
Overall I have had absolutely no complaints about this school. My daughter loves it and the staff is always very helpful and friendly. Jocelyn is being taught a lot of new material and she is absorbing all quite well.
