Alexander has become a great school. In the last few years it has completely turned around. Teacher turnover is at an all time low on this campus. The administration and staff are committed to working with the students and the families to give them the best educational opportunity possible. the staff has done a great job involving the community and even a better job of encouraging sucess with the students. Alexander has a group of committed adults who share a common interest in the future of the students that attend this school.

This school is one of the best in this area. The teachers are very dedicated and willing to assist in every way possible. The principals are quite young and seem to lack experience in managing the school. Overall the school is okay.

Alexander lacks in communication parent/teacher/student. improper assessment/strategic planning/follow up with student/parent. It appears that Alexander does not properly prepare students to transition from one grade to the next. I've also found that single parent/minority/economically disadvanged children suffer the most, due to the lack of attention from teachers, who recently graduate to become teachers, not prepared to service these children. Utimately, this is a destroying factor 'disappointment/discouraging future for our children'
