Great vanguard program and education but need more extra carricular and more teacher parent involvement.

Anduve por mucho tiempo buscando una escuela que reuniera los requisitos para una ni a que a sus 5 ya le a y se sabia todo el programa de un kindergarden "regular", tenia 2 opciones la famosa escuela KIPP o Carrillo, me puse triste por que mi hija no pudo entrar a KIPP pues es muy raro y controversial el sistema que llos usan, mas sin embargo cuando ella entro en Carrilo mis expectativas fueron mas alla de lo que esperaba, mi hija fue calificada como G/T y colocada en un programa Vanguard dentro de esa escuela, es increible todo lo que ense an ahi, asus 6 lee y escribe como si estuviera en 3 grado, sabe cosas que se miran en grados ya superiores, ha realizado proyectos de dinosaurios, contaminacion ambiental, construir una ciudad con puro material reciclable, lee 5 libros de lunes a viernes, es una escuela mas alla de lo increible, KIPP se queda corto ahora que comparo a ni os que estan en el mismo grado y q asisten a esa escuela con Carrillo, Exelente staff, seguridad, No le puedo dar un NOBEL a Mrs.Elizondo, pero si estuviera en mis manos se lo dar a, por haber puesto tanta pasi n en su trabajo como maestra. Es todo....Gracias

This is an amazing school. My kids love it here and the teachers and principals are amazing and very energetic. They have a great vanguard program and I'm sad to pull my kids out of this school because we will be moving. Very low turn over on teachers!

This is such a great school I was in this school since kinder and also have a brother in this school . If you are looking for involed teachers and office staff this is a excellent school! It also has a great vanguard program!
