It's not for everybody! The school has a very good language arts and reading program, decent history, and is uninspired on the rest. Hyper-religious, conservative, not progressive, these people seem to all live in a very small world amongst each other. If your child is worldly, artistic, or truly smart as oppossed to spitting back learned information, look elsewhere. It's a culture that fits with athletic children who do not seek a lot of exposure to arts and different ways of thinking.

The worst days of my life were spent here. Due to the teachers, and the students. Please, do not send your children here, especially if you are not affiliated with their church. I was bullied by both students and teachers. A teacher, who still works there, once gave me a nickname of 'dung beetle', in front of my entire 8th grade class.

My daughter has been at OSL for two years, and she absolutely loves it. The teachers are awesome!!! They are committed to each and every child that walks in the door. Everyone that works there or sends their child their is so warm and welcoming. The principal is absolutely great!!! He know what is important to make a school strive!! I highly recommend OSL to anyone. Just drive in and look at its beautiful campus!! It is just wonderful to look at!!

OSL is absolutely the best school I have ever been to. The teachers are great and so is the education. They really know how to motivate students and teach us about God. I thank them for my wonderful experience.

I have two kids at OSL and it has been a wonderful experience. The academic standard is very high, and the kids are challenged to reach their full potential. The teachers and administration are very supportive of the kids and they are extremely in-tune to what is going on in and out of the classroom. I have no complaints whatsoever and would recommend this school to anyone who is looking for an excellent learning experience for their children.

We had two children attend Our Savior recently and I have to say it is a great school! We especially liked the commitment to high academic standards and the willingness to teach manners. Our children felt good about school not because their egos were stroked, but because they were challenged to achieve and perform beyond their expectations! And they did!

I am a former student at OSL, and I have to say that every year except my eighth grade year was great. Before eighth grade the teachers gave a balance of an hour to two hours of homework a night. In eighth grade they change the principal and other things. The current principal is very cheap, oblivious of school activities, and gives freedom to the teachers about how much homework they can give. Now my younger sibling is getting three to four hours of homework a night and I was getting the same amount also. In my eighth grade year my Latin grade dropped from an A to a C. Parents complained and students were stressed and angered. If you are looking for a fun and exciting school that your child will enjoy, I would not recommend OSL.

Our Savior's Classical Curriculum brought back self-respect to the classroom! The Latin and Logic classes have enabled my child to excell in later test scores!

We have had our children at Our Savior Lutheran school for three years and we are convinced this is the best school anywhere! Academically, our kids are way ahead of our neighborhood kids who attend the local public school. Our kids love their school because they know so much, are challenged and succeed, and have wonderful caring teachers! If you want a great school for your children, you can't od better than Our Savior!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
