Texas Christian School is amazing. I have to drag my boys home everyday because they dont want to leave the campus. All the teachers have been at the school for as long as we have been here and this is our 6th year. All the teachers are wonderful are willing to tutor and help when needed. If there was anything wrong with the school I would not have my 3 children enrolled. We have experienced elementary, Jr. High and this year high school which my son absolutely loved!!! Academically he was very challenged but the teachers tutored him during lunch which helped a lot. We love TCS and plan on being here till all 3 of our children graduate.

They will bend the rules for your child if he/she can throw a ball and do anything to get kids to come to their school to play sports. No morals for a "Christian" school

Adminitration is terrible. They fired alot of teachers and hire teachers without certifications. Poor education quality, if you want you kids only aim to go to a community college after their high school, this is for you.

God is NOT dead at Texas Christian! From teaching creation science in high school to the pre k learning that Jesus is the ultimate superhero, the kids are being taught how to LIVE their faith. It's amazing what the faculty and staff do day in and day out. They truly LOVE our kids! I'm proud to be a TCS Tiger!

TCS is more than just a school it is a family. I am so thankful that I joined the teaching staff last year and was able to bring my children with me. My 3 year old learned his colors, shapes, counting and how to write his name this year because of the wonderful activities planned by his teacher. He can even tell him that a certain letter is for a friend in his class. It is now summer and he asked me today when he could go and be with his friends, including his teacher. I could not be more grateful for the spiritual growth he is receiving there as well. It stills my heart to hear him walking around singing a song he learned about being strong and courageous and to not be afraid. I am looking forward to what the next school year has in store for me and my kids.

My daughters have attended Texas Christian School for ten years. My older daughter graduated in 2014 as co-valedictorian of her class. She is attending Oklahoma Baptist University and maintaining a straight A average. She has adjusted well to college life and has not had the academic struggles that several of her college friends have dealt with. She is an awesome writer because of the Shurley language approach that is taught beginning in first grade. My younger daughter is also successful at this school. She has had teachers that care about her and know her as a person not just a number. Both of my girls have thrived in this small family environment. The students thrive when the school, home and church work together and convey the same values.

Texas Christian is an amazing school that is passionate about their student's. I could not be happier about a Christian organization that has great core values and beliefs that help form my kids for the future. The staff and administration are top notch professionals that perform in all facets of my kids growth as a students and as a Christian. As a parent you want your kids safe, to have a great education, and to grow in their faith. Texas Christian fits all of these standards and more.

Texas Christian was the best school I ever attended. I graduated in 2012 and I am close to graduating from A&M. Whoop!!! Mr. Rankin and Mr. P were amazing teachers and shared wisdom with me that I will pass on to my kids when I start a family one day. I miss the halls of TCS and will forever be a Tiger; and an Aggie! Thank you TCS for all you do did for me academically and Spiritually. Miss you! Sarah Walls

Texas Christian is an amazing place! I love that the values we teach in our home are reinforced at school. I love that my boys love to go to school. I love that the teachers love each students and are available any time you need. I even text my sons teacher when I need. I am very thankful that the Lord led our family to TCS!

My children went here for a few years. It was the worst mistake I have ever made as a parent. Some of the teachers truly care about the kids but it is really a hit or miss. The Jr. High students have problems writing the simplest of papers and, rather than challenging the students, my child was simply given good grades and promoted. There is only so much that can be done at home and, with the high tuition we paid, we certainly expected better support from the school. We've moved on now and the kids are happier. This school doesn't have Christian values unless you count how well they worship the almighty dollar.

Can I give negative stars? WORST SCHOOL EVER! Incredibly disappointed in the lack of professionalism of this so called "Christian" school. I can't begin to stress how terrible the experience was. So bad that we had to withdrawal our child in the middle of the semester. When I went to the director with my issues she left the conversation by reminding me I signed a contract & would owe the money & that they would have no issues putting it on my credit if I decided to withdraw my child & did not want to pay for the upcoming months. She had no concern with my 5 year old little girl AT ALL. Don't worry Texas "Christian" you will get your money & that should tell you something. I would rather withdrawal her & pay you services WE did not get, then to let her finish the semester or spend another day in that vile, emotionally abusive place. You broke my child's heart and spirit. Shame on TCS for selling a loving, caring, Christian school when you are anything but. We feel so scammed. Taking her out of this school was the best thing we could have done. Parent to parent please don't make the same mistake I made. You will be greatly disappointed. We will be filing a formal complaint.

We were going to send our son to military school because he was very rebellious. We decided to try Texas Christian to see if he would change. After only a couple weeks we saw a difference. The kids at TC took him right in like they had known him for years. Our son is very involved in the school and plays sports and loves it. We Thank TCS kids and staff for the great influence on our son!

WORST SCHOOL MY SON HAS ATTENDED. This school is all about the money and don't care for the well being of their students. There is no security for kids. Anybody can take a child and they wont even noticed. I have had my husband, my mom, my mother in law, my sister pick him up only one relative is in the pick up list ...but they have NEVER asked for ID nor nothing.. My mom picks my son up everyday and they have no idea if he left or not. Every little thing is about money. I know it is a business at the en of the day but they are quick in letting your child starve all if he/she doesn't have money to pay for food. It is ridiculous not very christian at all.

The school is okay for children who do not aim high for academics. It is good for kids who struggle in big schools socially. However, they are far behind in academics. We pulled my child and put her in the Katy public school and struggled academically in the beginning because she was not taught well at TCS. She is doing very well now into 2 years at public school academically and socially. It is a shame since we paid extra tuition to send our child here at TCS and yet didn't get enough education for my child. At least we found out before it was too late. My daughter went to TCS until 7th grade.

Texas Christian has does wonders for our children. Socially they have blossomed and regularly have get together with their classmates which never happened in their other school, academically they are challenged and are learning things that older kids in public school don t know and then spiritually they are being fed each day which is a huge blessing. We love TCS and can t wait to see them graduate!

There are so many reasons we chose to enroll our children at TCS. They offer challenging academics, spiritual encouragement and activities that our children enjoy as do many other schools. What really grabbed us about TCS was the warmth and love we felt when we walked in the doors. There is just something different about TCS. My daughter is doing amazing and loves coming to school and my son was so impressed about how welcoming the students were when he came in as the new kid. As everyone is saying, this truly is a spiritual family. We love this school.

The Best! There is no way that you could attend this school and not come out more advanced academically and be more knowledgeable about the Bible. The teachers here are super, the curriculum really is very challenging, and the environment is 100 times better than public. No school is perfect but this school is a family. My kids will graduate from TCS.

I attended Tcs for almost 8 years. Although I made a lot of great friends growing up there, I also think that people there could be so cruel. The students that attended that school were awful and had their noses in the air for who knows what reason. And what's sad is that a lot of those students had parents who were part of faculty and staff. I never learned anything from that school at all. They passed me every year even though my grades were horrible! It probably has to do with the nice check my parents were sending in every month! And if you think that private school automatically means a better environment then you may be wrong! I am not bashing all private schools but from personal experience I feel nothing but scarred after attending Texas Christian school for so long. What a waste of money. Not only was I abused by my classmates but I never learned anything! I finally transferred to public school and had to really learn how to have self discipline! It was definitely difficult building up the motivation to exceed in my studies after years of enabling and indifference from the Tcs faculty. In my experience, public school was much more bearable then Tcs.

This school is beyond excellent! The staff is warm and caring. My son is happy and wants to go to school daily. I am so thrilled for him. I looked at other schools when trying to decide where he should start Kindergarten and this was the only school where I felt the staff was truly sincere. Becky Soliz is absolutely fantastic.

My son has always been picked on in school. Nothing too bad but he came home everyday saying: "This kid called me this, this kid threw my pencil, they cuss all the time, etc." He asked me to find a place where he didn't have to hear all the mess every single day. I called Texas Christian and spoke to Mrs. Soliz. We toured, my son visited for a day, and he now wants to graduate from TCS. He loves going to school, the academics are more challenging, and I never hear him complain. TCS is a blessing to our family. Thank you!

We love going to TCS. We are new to the family of TCS and we have had a wonderful experience already. I was looking for a place where my daughter would actually do real academic lessons and bible. Some where she would feel comfortable talking about the things of God as well as learn academics. Me & my daughter senses that TCS has a different atmosphere(Christ) than the public school. The staff are professional and friendly. Family oriented, use natural products for cleaning.God led us to the right place!!!Were happy about TCS!

Beyond thrilled!!! All we ever heard about TCS was how great it was. We were so excited when we were accepted but did not expect it would be this great. My kindergartener is reading books, is working on second grade sight words, is learning multiplication, knows technology better than most of our family, has beautiful handwriting as well as cursive, is learning Spanish, loves her teachers, doesn t want me to come pick her up, hates when we have days off of school, is taking piano lessons, the list just keeps going on. My fourth grader loves coming to school which is the biggest blessing because normally I would be dragging him, his confidence has grown so much and his favorite class is Bible. There is no other school like TCS. Absolutely the best. Thank you to all the teachers and Mrs. Beckie! We love you!

I love Texas Christian School! I couldn't imgaine myself being any where else! Been apart of the family for over 12 years now. The school is Biblically based and it reflects. The students are on fire for Christ, families are involved in any way possible and the staff is simply the best! Keep up the awesome work Tigers!!!

As I read through other reviews I can't help but to nod my head in agreeance to everyone's emphasis on "apart of the family." It's so true! Not a single student, parent, staff or faculty is a stranger or outsider. Everyone is a team who works together creating a Christ centered environment. I can't say enough good things about Texas Christian School. As a parent, it's everything and more than I could want in my son's and daughter's everyday educational program. I always see alumni at the school coming back to see old friends and teacher's and always hear them saying they miss the family. Can't imagine my children graduating from anywhere else but TCS! It really is the best!

Because we wanted more than a room full of kids for my 4 yr. old to "hang out" in all day. We wanted a warm and caring environment where she can learn and grow. TCS has given us that and so much more! We could not be happier with our decision to be part of the TCS family.

Absolutely wonderful! My child is entering her third year at Texas Christian. She enjoys the atmosphere and her grades show it. The administration is extremely concerned about the children attending the school. They create a place where your child can receive a top-notch education and still praise their Lord. Sadly, we did not find that public school provided a safe atmosphere, nor was the administration attentive to the individual child's education needs. My child is looking forward to the Science Fair this year. Every other year the children participate in a Science Fair, and then the next year a History Fair. The children also participate in an Art Fair each year. Debate and Speech competitions are also offered. The school supports parent involvement. They encourage parents to become involved in all aspects of their child's educational experience. The normal sports are offered. Spanish is a required subject in primary grades.

My son is currently a junior, and my daughter is in 8th grade. We started attending when my son was in kindergarten. He's currently testing (Stanford Achievement Test) at 98th percentile in math, 96th percentile in English. But most importantly, my kids have grown spiritually and formed exemplary character while attending this school. Great caring, loving teachers, warm family atmosphere.

My kids have attended for eleven years now. The oldest is now in high school, the youngest in junior high. They are very intelligent, well-rounded individuals with Christ-like character, evidence of the excellence in education and leadership they have received at Texas Christian. High school kids are taught life concepts with a Christian worldview and are afforded extra educational opportunities such as trips to the state and national capitals. I highly recommend Texas Christian to any parent!

I have had two seniors graduate from Texas Christian High School and they (1 girl & 1 male) have succeeded not only in college but in making good life choices that will effect them for a life time. I currently have another teenager at this school and I am very pleased with how the staff prepared students not only for college but life in general. TCHS now has dual credit courses where the students are able to receive their required high school credits as well as college credits, getting a jump on college! I would highly recommend this school for any 3 years old through 12th grade student.
