STARTING FROM SCRATCH

Okay so I am soo starting from scratch. My family and I are looking to relocate to Houston Texas mid/late 2012 not specific where yet because we still need to look for work. Where do we look for work? How do we go about doing this? Mind you I have never moved such a distance before in my life from Los Angeles, CA (hometown) so this is a bit overwhelming to plan but i want a better life for my family, better environment. All Input is welcome.

Hi Collinss,
I'm guessing you'll be staying with relatives in order to move such a distance before you find employment. Start with them for leads. Read the local papers online, and scour their classifieds. If you're leaving a business here, find out about possible opportunities or sister companies there.

We moved to Houston from San Antonio and heard wonderful things about Texas Christian School. We have been here 5 years now and can not say enough good things about TCS. Check us out.
