This is a great school located in a great neighborhood. The teachers and staff are special and have engaged our students to do there best. Our oldest was struggling to find interest in school when we moved to this school a couple years ago. Since then, he is engaged and loves his time with his teachers and at school. Keep up the good work!

We've been at Alexander for 3 years. Amazing school, teachers, support staff and resources. Parents are involved and the teachers are dedicated to helping each child. As a parent of a special needs and main stream child, I have seen both sides and am more than impressed with the attention they have received. We choose our house based on the children going to this school and Alexander has not disappointed us.

All the great reviews about this school are true. I think this is one of the best public elementary schools. I am an expat and have put my kids in private schools around the world and I should know that the clear and effective teachers in this school is what makes this an exemplary choice.

Excellent, vested and caring teachers. Excellent curriculum. Inclusive environment for the students. There is room for improvement in the clickiness of some of the volunteer staff, but at the end of the day the children have a great educational experience - what really matters.

I wish someone had warned me about the overcrowding at Alexander. It is the largest Elementary in Katy and houses over 1200 children, many of which are taught in exterior mobile classrooms. The gym has up to 100 children during PE and the kids are not allowed to run during PE because of the overcrowding. There are not even enough seats for the children on the bus, forcing some to seat 4 children on a bench designed for 2. The high standards and nurturing qualities of this school are offset by the extreme overcrowding which I wish we had been warned about before choosing Grand Lakes as our neighborhood.

We recently moved from Katy to the Tyler area. We miss RAE! It is a great school, the teachers were awesome...it's been a tough adjustment. We would love to move back!

Excellent acedemic school with a wide variety of art and music programs both extracurricular and in the classroom. Other extracurricular activities available as well. Overwhelming involvement of parents, mostly mothers but lots of fathers too. Well maintained, clean and nice playground. Teachers are caring and nurturing.

Alexander is a spectacular and magical place for children to learn. The teachers are top-notch. As part of Katy ISD, parents are welcomed in the school to volunteer in many capacities. The specials program is very strong with outstanding Art and PE programs. This school has been a God-send to my family. We feel very blessed to be priviledged to attend RAE.

This is a great school with wonderful teachers and teaching abilities, clean facilities, and a nice staff. I highly reccomend you switch schools to Roosevelt Alexander Elementary. The discipline is great, so your child will be brought up correctly. Overall, this school is great.
