Live Oak Ridge Middle School

Well guns seem to be a problem twice in less than 3 months. Fights after school almost daily and a gang-like mentality resides well here, sadly. Destruction of property and bullies, runs rampant. Not pleased with this school at all or its Principal. Will be extremely glad when my child has graduated THIS out of control school.

My daughter will be starting Middle School this year...... She will be in the 6th grade, I am concern with the number of pre-adolescent, as well as teenagers that will be in attendence. Are there enough hall monitors, teachers assistant, and playground watchers? Yes, I am available......Safety and patrol is definitely needed with our pre-adolescent and teenagers. Peer pressure at this age, and in this environment is always present. Let's implement a disaster preparedness plan for Bullying. I am an available parent. AFCMSVO/NAPSP

I Am A Student At Live Oak Ridge. I Have Been There Since The Sixth Grade. It Is Wonderful I Have Never Had Too Take An ACC Course ! i Would Say That One Of The Best Teachers is In The 8th Grade History Department ! Out Principal Is The Greatest She Dont Tolerate Nothinqq.

As a former student of this school, I believe that the standards of the teachers and staff members are set to a reasonable level for the students. The Christian-like qualities show throught all the staff so they can set an example for the child you are rasing.

I am currently attending as a 8th grader and I have been attending at Live Oak since 6th grade. I got to say this school is one of the best in the KISD. Overall to me this school is like family. If you want to be a great athlete you must see Coach Cotton, Coach Chevere, Coach D, & Coach Cypher. Although this school is a little crowded it's still a good community.

My son has now attended this school in 6th and now he in 7th grade. I am overall happy with this school. My son is in TAG classes and he is being challenged. I do think that they do not have enough teachers and the classed are overcrowded. Last year was much better with this problem. But overall my son is doing good. He is an A student and a good Athlete. The sports are good Coach Cotton is a good coach he really cares about his athletes and keeps them out of trouble. I would recommed this school to other parents but you must be an involved parent. This always helps. I believe there are troubles at every school but its the choices the students make to stay in or out of touble.

The Staff, Counselors and the spirit of the school best suits me. I appreciate the friendliness and cooperation the staff provides. I am always able to talk to teachers, who seem to have time to hear me out on any concerns or issues I have.
