My grandson has attended Academy Elem for the past two years and is about to begin his third year. This school and the staff that makes up Academy Elem is far superior to other elem schools in Texas I have been a part of. I am very thankful for the start my grandson has been given. He excels in his studies and that is due in great part to the caring staff. Thanks to you all at Academy Elem!

Three of my five kiddos are currently enrolled in AISD, and I have to say that I am incredibly pleased!!! There has been allot of opportunity for parental involvement, and I have personally witnessed teachers and staff going the extra mile with their students time and time again. These teachers care for their students as if they were their very own, and consistently make their students academic success a top priority. We could not be more thrilled!!!

I have been amazed by the elementary school. I have never seen anything like it. The kids as well as the teachers are very judgemental. If you are not from this little community it is very hard to earn exceptance. As far as getting a good education it is a good place. On the professional side the teachers and staff lack a lot of that. It leaves one to question, do you want a place where your child feels humiliated and singled out if they dont fit in, or do you want a place where they can excell and feel excepted? Over all I would not recommend academy elementary

We are relatively new to this school district; nevertheless, we are thrilled with the level of the academic programs available. The curriculum is very challenging in all areas; the music and physical education program is awesome; the teachers are all so wonderful. Because it is a smaller school district it allows its great teachers to be more involved with each student; not just the ones that are struggling and not just the over-achievers. One of the other things that we are very happy about is that built into each academic day, is a 'tutorial' time; this has helped cut down drastically on homework every night; thus, giving us more time to just 'enjoy' our kids. We are thrilled about having the opportunity to be a part of this great school district and have/would recommend it highly to anyone that is looking for a great place to educate their children.
