My kids are in the early childhood program and they love it here! I plan to keep them here until they graduate!
Everyday my kids look forward to going to school, they absolutely love it! I love their teachers and the atmosphere here is very positive and very close knit. It's a little pricey, but well worth it!
I have been a student at Trinity School of Texas since I was three. Now that I am well into high school, I am still glad I go there. Though there are some drawbacks related to sports and class size, there are also benefits. My class is so closly knit we are like brothers and sisters. I don't mind going to school, because my teachers ensure we never have a dull day, and yet, at the same time, we learn. Since the school got me to take the SAT in 7th grade, I have been bombarded by college brochures. I was even excepted to college in the 8th grade. However, I am staying at TST to finish out my high school years in a friendly, christain environment.
I was at TST from K-6th and then left to try public school. After 4 years in public school I went back to TST. Even though they do not have football, we excelled in V-Ball and Soccer! Some Texas parents might think their kid is missing out by not having it, but this school is by far what got me into the colleges I was accepted to. The teachers really care and will spend extra time before and after school to help you. If your child want to go to a good college TST is the way to go! I am now a student at A&M and a Vet Med Student!
I have had my 3 kids at Trinity since kindergarten and have been very pleased with the performance of the school. We initially chose the school as it was convenient to my downtown office and the hospital where my wife worked. I have found the school leadership to be responsive to concerns of parents. As far as private schools in the area, I believe that Trinity is the best for college preparatory curriculum. The school actively pushes students to participate in extracurricular activities in the community. They have nominated my kids for the Duke TIP program and National Youth Leadership Conference
I have two children at TST and could not be happier! All a parent needs to do is spend time around the campus to see what a positive environment it is. Students are challenged but are allowed to be children. This traditional Episcopal school has seen success beyond the doors for over 50 years.
This school is terrible. Overpriced, and lack of good teachers. The teachers only care if your child is wealthy and making good grades. No support for kids. No football. High expectations low moral. Think twice before enrolling your child
Trinity is not about your child being ahead of his or her peers, it is a process that builds confidence and self-esteem. Teachers at Trinity are given the freedom to use their creativity to unlock each individual childs potential. A Trinity graduate is a child who is confident, self-assured, and ready for lifes challenges.
I have been a teacher for 13 years. I have taught and observed in multiple public schools in East Texas. TST is the best school in this area by far. With approximately 17 graduates, each graduating class has received over $1 million in scholarships over the past 5 years. The atmosphere is positive and learner centered. The question is not whether upon graduating from TST you attend college, it is which college of your choice you would like to attend. If you or your child will be college bound, TST is the school for you!
I am a student at the Trinity School of Texas (TST) and I love it! Public schools have so many students in one class, here the whole class count this year is sixteen! The education here teaches you to be independent, and ready for college. There are drawbacks, but there is at any school. Although you end up with more homework then you want, it is so very worth it!
