I once bragged about this school to my family and friends. Encouraged them to send their kids here, but boy was I in the wrong. This school has gone down fast. The Macs have taken over and the text books are out the window. I encourage technology advancement, but this school is rediculous. I removed my student from this school because of the Principal and her wicked ways of thinking. I now tell people do NOT send their kids to this school if they want a quality education. I hear they removed their Principal but the Superintendent is still there and he's only looking out for himself not the students. Go anywhere else but Roosevelt High School.

The school relies too much on technology. They obtained a grant for Mac computers which is great but the students no longer write with pen or pencil, everything is reliable on the computers. As far as the Principal goes they need a change, she has come in and taken over as if she is the warden of a prison. The teachers constantly complain about her and she doesn't care about the students. The Superintendent has given himself, his wife and the all the principal raises, and bought IPADS for the administration, why IPADS if they have Macs? But docked the teachers pay. This school once was a A+ school and with the new Superintendent and Principal it doesn't even rank. Somthing needs to be done quickly.
