We've sent all of our kids (3) to Wolford since it opened in 2000. From day 1 through to today we've had nothing but great things to say about the staff, facility, and quality of education that our children have received. Each year the school has actually gotten better -- always raising the bar for itself, earning national awards yearly including U.S.. Department of Education "Blue Ribbon School" status. Parents are engaged with the education of their kids at Wolford and the staff has created a nuturing yet challenging learning environment. With two now in high school at McKinney Boyd and one still at Wolford we clearly see that the foundation set at this terrific school is preparing our kids to tackle whatever challenges they choose to take on in the years ahead.

This is a very well run school. The entire staff works as a team to creat a wonderful learning environment. The principle 'Roy' is taking on a wonderful newly created position within Mckinney ISD and he will be greatly missed. I was very pleased with his team work and commitment with not just his staff but the parents and students as well. The school's music, art and physical ed. team are absolutly fantastic and it shows thru the students on a day in day out basis. Parents are highly involved and encouraged to be a 'hands on' group as well. This is not just within the walls of the PTA but in all activities at Wolford. The importance of good work habits and attention to making wonderful grades is highly encouraged at this school. Joy my daughter was blessed to be a student at this school last year. Sadly we are moving

This is a great school with lots of enthusiastic teachers. The kids are given a well rounded education. I have seen a couple disruptive kids who weren't dealt with immediately. More the exception than rule though. High level of parent involvement, great extra curricular opportunities.
