I would not recommend this school to anyone. The teachers and administration are hard to communicate with and do not take into account parent input. Parent involvement is not encouraged. They are difficult with which to work. The classes that I have observed are rowdy and uncontrolled. Individual attention to students is rare. I would not wish any child to have to attend this school. Many MISD teachers that I know have said time and time again that they would never send their child to Black Elementary.
Florence Black is a great school. I would recemmend it to alot of people. Out of a scale 1 to 10 meaning 1 bad 10 great I would give it a 10 because the prin. is wonderfull. So get ready to sign up!!!
