I attended LRSH Pre-K through 1st grade and have such wonderful and profound memories of this wonderful school. I am so fortunate to be able to send my children to this school more than 30 years later. Their learning curriculum works! My kids are so comfortable here and are having such a positive learning experience. The staff truly cares about each and every child's learning experience.

Best kept secret in the Dallas area. This is our 1st year at LRSH I can not say enough about the staff at this school. Awesome teachers, no nonsense and requires your child to respect the classroom. My child is reading, comprehends reading, and understand math concepts. The staff goes over and beyond to ensure that your child is happy, safe and provides meaningful positive experiences!

LRSH is wonderful! Thank God for teachers who really care about the first yrs. of a child's education. LRSH provides a great foundation for those so young. My granddaughter went to LRSH for 3 yrs. Amazing what she learned. I can't wait to join in the fun of learning and all the other special events with my grandson, that LRSH provides for all their children. Many 'thanks' to all of you at LRSH.

Little Red School House provides a warm and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to shoot for the moon. Their unique approach to teaching children the fundamentals of reading, writing, and math have proven successful over their 46 year history. Parent involvement is second to none. What a special place this is!

This school has wonderful programs that give children the drive to use their imagination and explore reading. They were also listed in D magazine as one of the best private schools in the area. The teachers, staff and parents work together to form a great network for the children and families.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
