Even though our school has a high population of student's that don't speak English as their primary language, it is highly successful in meeting the needs of our students.

My problem is our children are encouraged to join sports and other extracurricular activities that require other children to sometimes not get home until after 10pm and leaving during school hours and other teachers not taking this in consideration gives tons of homework. Just like happen to my son last night, he did not get home until almost 10pm but was up until almost 3am doing homework that was given to him yesterday.Yes it took that long and he is a straight A student and not someone who is slow at his work. Another problem my two children have had there is racism from a Teacher in the Mall,who assumed they were Hispanic since the Hispanic children were the ones who she seems to have a problem with.My son is quiet and hasn't told the principal but my daughter spoke up & stood up for herself & the others.
