I was simply looking online for the phone number and stumbled upon this site, and I was appalled when I noticed the low rating of "2 out of 10". I graduated from School of Choice last year, and I have to say I learned more at this school than I did my entire high school career. The teachers are great and concerned- unlike New Braunfels High School, they care about you as a person, and they're much more interested in what they're teaching. A couple of specific teachers there changed my life. Even the principal's dedication to his students far surpasses anything I ever saw in Mr. Rodriguez, or ANY of the assistant principals at NBHS. I'll admit, the computer based learning isn't necessarily viewed as the best way to learn, but it works for the people with different learning styles. I went at my own pace (which, surprisingly, ended up being much faster than some of the other students) and I got to skip the long, dragged out classes to cover one subject that I had done all my life. I switched to School of Choice to graduate a couple months early, and ended up graduating almost an entire semester earlier. I learned so much and appreciate every single teacher in this school.

Academic programs leave alot to be desired, there are no music or art classes and no extracurricular activities, they do not allow parents to visit withour making an appointment.

I've been excelling at this school. I go to the School of Choice section and I find the material easy to understand and am able to move at my own pace sometimes I'm able to move quickly and other times it takes me longer, but I know that it is okay and I don't feel bad or behind for taking my time. Plus when I don't understand a problem or a section a teacher is able to come right to me and sit down and explain things over until I understand.
