The teachers and staff are warm & friendly with an obvious desire to teach and care for the children. We have recently moved here and already feel as if we've long been a part of this school community.

The greatest selling feature of this school is the size. My child always felt like a part of the school community.

We have been very pleased with this school. The staff is great and very loving. My daughter has really excelled. She is now in first grade and is enjoying reading and learning how to add.

Snow Heights' small student population has allowed my child to receive much more individual attention. The teachers are very caring and it feels like a 'family community.' I must be honest and say when this school combines with Mullendore, we may consider moving as this will make the student count go up considerably.

There needs to more diversity in staffing of teachers at this school. The demographics of this area is changing rapidly and the school personnel remains all white teachers. It is imperative to be have qualified, culturally competent and a diverse work force that understand the complexities of diverse cultures to provide a comfortable learning environment for those diverse children and their families. The academic programs are excellent and the notebook that is currently in use is a wonderful tool when/if used. Unfortunately, in my personal experience this 'agenda/daytimer' was purchased (a requirement) and has at this date (March 2005) never been utilized.

Snow Heights is a terrific school. The quality of education is high and the low student to teacher ratio is wonderful. Most of the classrooms have above 50% of the parents volunteering to help if needed on something, so that is great. We have a new principal this year and she is absolutely the best, so enthusiastic and it rubs off on the children. Snow Heights is a gem of a school.
