I'm a sophomore at penelope right now. And i have to say that this is a really good small school. I've been going here since pre-K and the school is so good that my mom dosent want me to transfer. They have great academics, teachers, and staff. And not just that, they have a great Athletic program too. So dont judge us just because we're small.

Small rural school. Great parent involvement. Leadership is very strong and there is a real momentum for improvement. The staff is working together to improve in all areas. The district has improved drastically financially, academically and still provides a safe environment for all the kids.

Very small farming community school. Great for small teacher/student ratios. Not much in the way of electives in the upper grades. My daughter has attended Penelope since kindergarten and is now in 5th grade. She has limited mobility so sports is out of the question. She will not have much to choose from in the upper grades. We have had great teachers in the elementary. I also have a son that will be a senior this year. Complete different story for him. The quality of teacher drops off in the upper grades.
