My child was enrolled in this system for kindergarten and the first grade. We moved to a different school system and although she was at the top of her class in Perryton... She was almost a year behind in her new school. Perryton has terrible Schools. Half of the children in her class could not speak a word of English. If you care about your child's education turn back now!
Perryton School district is notoriously more difficult than most schools in texas however it has recieved a blue ribbon rating from the federal government which is good. We moved here from Tulse when my daughter was in Kindergarten and she had to redo Kindergarten because of the high standards expected by this school district. All in all I give this school an excellent rating but for those who are transfering here expect to play catch up.
