Saigling is the best elementary school in Plano. It remains the smallest in attendance, averaging 43-63 students per grade. All of my kids have attended there over the last 13 years and it remains an excellent education for children. The neighborhood is fantastic, with the lowest number of predators registered in any neighborhood in Plano, the safest neighborhood per crime data, and a limited number of transfers of students from other neighborhoods to the school. Ninety percent of the teachers are the best anywhere you can find. The PTA, Girl Scout & Boy Scout Programs, Dad's Club, Drumline, Honor Choir, and Student Council program make this the elite school in Plano.

Saigling has a great staff. The teachers are warm and caring. Our son is gifted and they have worked very hard to keep him interested and moving forward. The curriculum is challenging as well as teaching thought processes and logic. Our only reason for taking one star away is our disappointment in discipline. Apparently there are several (at least 6) children that cause problems in the class daily. Sadly our son doesn't want to go to school because he has to be around them. We are hopeful this will be fixed next year when they create the class rosters. Academically we are very happy and feel our son will continue to be challenged and grow.

Saigling is one of the top elementary schools in the state. The educational leadership starts with the principal, Kelli Latimer, and carried forth by the teachers and staff. Everyone I have dealt with (teachers, staff and principal) have been very accessible and have one goal, the education of our children. Class sizes are good, teachers care, what more do you want?

Saigling is the little jewel of Plano. The class size is great, small. The teachers are fabulous. The community involvement is wonderful. My children have grown into confident students thanks to the loving and caring teachers who have shown them that learning is fun. Kudos to the staff, students and PTA of Saigling.
