This school is unbelievalbe! The staff is professional and hard working. The fact that this school has 46% of its kids on reduced lunch, over half of its students coming from multi family housing, many single parents and the children's scores keep going up and up! Anyone with a recent bad experience at Rasor should probly look in the mirror and see what they could of done to improve the experience.
I can't believe the positive ratings for this school. I transferred my child to this school 2 years ago and can't wait until the school year is over to get him out of this school I am moving out of this school's are for that sole purpose. Unprofessional staff, discipline issues , poorly trained teachers. PACE program is the only positive at this school, Ms. McKinney is an exception to the staff.
I rate this school a 9 I am excited about very inpressed with the teachers, principal and the resourses avaliable.
Are we talking about the same school? i'm trying to relocate so my kids can go to another school. The school is runned by PTA and the teachers are anything but friendly.
We just moved here. I was so impressed with the level of professionalsm at the school, which includes very friendly staff who were as welcoming to us as they were to returning students. The level of expectations for learning is high, and I see a lot of supporting stucture underneath to make it happen. Great classroom resources, broad level of experience in the teaching teams. I am very pleased to send my child to this school.
Rasor is a great school. The pace program, the after school writing club and the great teachers makes this school ideal for my kids. There are occasional discipline issues though, which I guess can be found in most schools.
Rasor is a wonderful school! The teaachers are very dedicated and top- notch. Rasor has great after school clubs and other off campus activities that really enhance the children's learning experience. I'm very pleased with the school and happy to have my children go here.
Great school, great beginning kindergarten program with great teachers
