The teachers and staff are some of the best I've ever known. I'm a former student and now a teacher intern. the years i went there were my favorite by far.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH KINDERGARTEN WAS EXCELLENT STAFF IN ALL AREAS, COMMUNITY AND PARENT INVOLVEMENT ENCOURAGED. WE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED WITH THE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY OUR 5 YEAR OLD RECEIVED. THANK YOU.
My son attends first grade with Dawn Tacker as his teacher. This is the third school my son has attended and the only one that I have felt so comfortable with and liked so well. All member's of the staff have been excellent. My son gets one on one attention and is treated as an individual instead of just one of the class. I highly recommend this school, and the campus is beautiful!
I am a student that used to be in this school since pre-k to 4th grade.I think this school has great principals,teachers,and staff.This school has very strong leadership and it is a great school I loved to be in.
When I moved to Texas from OR, I was having a bit of trouble transferring my daughter. But, the staff at Jack C Binon went above and beyond to make sure she was placed in the perfect class. And, it happened in record time. So, I am appreciative of them and everything they do. (That, and she loves her teacher!!!)
I'm a parent and I have 3 kids who attend Binion Elem. My husband and I moved here in 2006 and our kids have been here for 3 yrs. We all love it! When we got here the school had an old building, but it was kept clean and decent. Last year the school just got a brand new 2-story building. I really like the teachers here. Everyone is hardworking and caring toward the kids. My kids grades have been wonderful here (nothing less than a C). There's also tutoring available for kids that are falling behind and it's free. There is a lot of parent involvement here. The teachers are very strong in leading their class. The principal rides throughout the school (he's in a wheel-chair) to see how things are going everyday. We have a lot of fun here, and a lot of the staff have decent Morals :)
I absolutely love this school. The teachers provide a cirrriculum well suited for the various learning styles represented at the school. The children are provided with quality experiences at Binion that many of them would otherwise miss. The cultural diversity of the staff and students offers the students the opportunity to learn tolerance and acceptance. This is a unique opportunity that many schools do not provide. I am grateful that my son has such a wonderful and supportive school home.
Wow what a deception, this school has terrible parents, with no discipline they are worst than their kids, also the school staff is not so great, sometimes they are organized and sometimes they are not, i am ashamed to have my kid in here, the only good thing is the building wich is new, but that is it.
Jack C Binion Elem is a very old school, but soon to be replaced with a new, beautiful building. I am sure students, teachers and parents will all show pride in a school that has crossed the ages of education. Jack C Binion offers wonderful opportunities for children. Teachers and staff go the extra mile to ensure good mental stimulation. I'm very proud to have my Grandson at this school. Thank you Jack C Binion.
Teachers and staff not very friendly. Kids are left behind in learning. After school activities are more daycare than learning.
Jack C Binion elementary was a wonderful experience for me as a parent. The teachers and staff were wonderful to work with whenever I had a problems with my child.
Binion is a great school. The teachers are second to none and principle robertson is a get-it-done administrator who works lot more than most principals i have ever seen. However..... The school facilities are wretched.
Great community involvement and dedicated teachers who volunteer their time before and after school to maximize student success.
Average academics, but the after school program is the most attractive feature of this school--ITS FREE!
Jack C. Binion Elementary (formerly Glenview Elementary) is a wonderful educational establishment. Community volunteers and leaders are often seen in the hallways tutoring children and encouraging them to do their best. Teachers volunteer their time before / after school to teach extra classes and clubs.
