Five weeks into the school year and I am impressed! The Principal seems to be a strong force in the school; she is present and always smiling and interacting with the children. I can see that the teacher is striving patiently to challenge them with the curriculum. The classrooms and the school are clean, well organized, and bright. It seems like there are many opportunities for parent involvement. Finally, the best thing that I can say about Belaire so far is that every time I go into the school there is music playing and not one adult without a smile on their face. I really think that for the students that sets the pace of the day. I'm not sure what the rest of the year will bring, but I'm very pleased so far.

My two sons attended for one year (2002-2003) and learned virtually nothing during that time. Discipline was inappropriate. The only good point in the school was the kindergarten teacher. Mrs. Garcia was doing her best to help the kids shine in a lackluster school.
