the previous reviews sound too "professional" and perfectly written to be true. here is my personal experience of the school: *the school grounds are unkept. buildings are not maintained and are falling apart. its seems as the owners cut corners with building materials and workmanship when the school was built. everything from desks and supplies are all second hand. *at one time this school had strong Christian values. today it seems as if anyone, regardless of morals, are allowed to attend. this school has actually become very "thug-ish". *how many of their teachers are actually qualified to teach? how many of their teachers have teaching degrees?? some of their teachers are either members of the church congregation who needed a job or previous students who have graduated and never attended college.

We are nearing the end of the school year and my preschooler has done outstanding! Ms. Sanders and Ms. Terry are truly blessings to their students! Ms. Sanders is a true woman of faith and just pours all her heart and soul into her class. Ms. Monica is a special person as well. She is helpful and very sweet. I would encourage any parent who is looking for not only a quality education (ABEKA) but a place for your child to truly grow and develop their faith in God, then Sunnybrook is just the place! Sunnybrook is San Antonio's best kept secret!!! Thank you Sunnybrook for inspiring my child and even bringing our family closer together through your Sports for Christ program.

This is my son's first year at Sunnybrook. He is currently in the PreK program. It has been a huge blessing. He is thriving and learning lots of new things not just academically, but socially and spiritually as well. There is a downside to the PreK program which is a bit concerning. The size of the class is 27 for one teacher. That is a bit disturbing especially when private schools traditionally maintain lower classroom ratios. Other than that, the teacher is handling the large group fairly well. My son is also in athletics. The athletic program is excellent. Hope this helps!

My child is a blessing to us and consider him a gift from God that we must cherish, handle and love as a treasure. Sunnybrook administration and staff will also treasure your blessing.

I have been very pleased with the academic success and Christian leadership that has been placed before my 3 children at this small Christian school. The abeka learning program is excellent and gives a great Christian world view, in the sciences, history etc. The class room count is low and the campus is big enough so that the kids don't get bored. The elementary and junior high athletic programs are at a growing stage but they are committed to more structure. The coaches are Christ driven and reflect good role modeling for youth. The Weekly Chapel Services are blessings and the Holy Spirit moves in powerful ways. High School athletics is strong in Basketball and soon baseball, their football program has seen great days but wavers from time to time. New personnel in High School athletics will provide more clarity to Christian athletics.
