This school is great! It got me through 6th grade and i wish i could have stayed, it is better than Judson isd. The teachers were great and they really try to help you and give you new opportunities. I felt special, this school is one of the best.

This school is all I can ask for. Ive spent all my middle school years at TWMS and it has been a wonderful experince. All the teachers have a conference period and during that time, if i need any help understanding the curriculum, they are more than glad to tutor me. And for the case of the taking home books, i am currently taking a 9th grade class, algebra, and they allow us two books, one to take home, and one to keep in the class. This school is truly magnificent.

School is great. Teachers really care about the success of your child. TWMS is really on keeping up with technology , providing students with opportunities that they may not necessarily have met at home.

Regardless of the 'accountability issues' there is with providing take-home books for children, I think the children need books to bring home. The cost of future drop-out failure rates exceeds the cost of providing children with books. If books were not important in the curriculum, why do we see use of books in high school, college and vocational schools. Books are an important source of learning for children, I think something needs to be worked out in the system that would 'fine/punish' those parents who don't return books. If a person is taken to court on issues of absenteeism, then why not take parents to court regarding lost books? The books are too important an issue. I strongly recommend that students be allowed to take books home.

Terrell Wells has been rebuilding the school's media center over the past three years. I think parents and in-coming students will be very pleased with what they find. Several thousand dollars worth a books have been added. Many of these books are selected or recommended by students and teachers. Students are very excited when new books arrive because they see the books they selected. The magazine selection was also changed to include more leisure reading materials. Over the past two years, I've seen more and more reluctant readers come to the library to check out books. There's still a lot of work that needs to be done, but the media center is trying to move in the right direction. If you have any suggestions, we'd love to hear them.
