This is not only a school, but a true second home to my kids and I trust every member of the staff that they will take care of them just as I do!!! Love that it is so different from the public school setting.

My son and daughter love going to school! Their reading and writing levels have improved tremendously and they are both more confident in all subject areas. TPS also did really well on last year's TAKS scores and the teachers & students are working really hard to do it again this year. This school also offers awesome electives like drama, journalism, and art which are a plus to their enrichment and success in school. It is a part of the Boys & Girls Club which offers a GREAT afterschool program until 6:30 p.m.(a plus for keeping my kids safe while I'm still at work) and they offer a homework help program with the Sylvan Learning Center. This school is the best!

my daughter had some reading issues I was told by her previous teacher at Travis elementary. She has been at TPS for 2 months now and her grades have improved she gets 90's and 100 in her test . Her reading level has gone up. She loves going to school . Their method of learning keeps her interested and eager to read and experiment. Great Teachers at TPS.!

No matter where your child goes to school there will always be an issue with bullying. Name one school that does not have this issue. My children have been attending TPS for two years now and I couldn't be happier. The staff greets you with a smile and is always helpful in every way possible. The teachers are great! They are really into teaching my kids and go to every extent to make it as interesting as possible. I believe that TPS is a great place for my children to learn and grow.

The faculty is generally supportive academically. However, the school lacks in discipline and bullying/dangerous horseplay is an ongoing issue.

Poor Quality of education....very low TAKS scores and little help from principal to help improve scores. The school is a haven for those who have children who have been dicipline problems at other schools. Be very wary of this school. Shady administrators.

Our child has done well here, but would anywhere. The very low student:teacher ratio that brought us here has disappeared with the combining of grade levels. We would like to see more administrative accountability and more money going into the classroom for the kids' learning and teaching, rather than spent on overabundance of administration/staff. There has been minimal to moderate availability of music, art and sports. The afterschool club is convenient for parents who work. The Parent group PEVO is trying really hard this year to make positive changes for the sake of the school and our children. We need cooperation from the administration to achieve this.

My son has been going to the prep school this year and he has so much help form the staff and the principal. I could not get the public school to check him for learning disablities the prep school did and a whole lot more. The class sizes are small and the children get alot of one on one in the classroom. I will be sending my son next year.

I am a parent of a kindergarten student who attends this school and has done very well. The students in my son's class are all reading above grade level and are extremely ready for first grade. The school does not stop at the state requirements. Students are encouraged to continue learning at all times. I am very pleased with the school.
