My daughter was in the 8th grade at Shallowater Middle School and she loved it here. A child can only learn something if she has great teachers and a desire to learn and Shallowater Middle School had some wonderful 8th grade teachers and they made her want too learn! She especially loved her Drama teacher Mrs.Howell and her Science teacher Dr. Howell!
The sixth grade math teacher is the greatest. If a kid doesn't learn math it is because he doesn't want to. The kids need to do more writing in the sixth grade. There is at least one teacher that needs to quit teaching because she isn't an effective teacher anymore. She doesn't treat the kids equal and doesn't expect the same out of all kids.
