My "child" is a young adult aged 23 now. He attended Waco Montessori School from preschool through sixth grade. His love of learning, creativity, and independence were all fostered and encouraged by WMS. His WMS classmates grew up to be leaders in their middle and high schools. Thank you, WMS teacher for all you gave to him.
This is the perfect school for our kids. Our problems with other schools were poor communication, rigid curriculum, and administrative inaction. The teachers at WMS foster positive attitudes and a love of learning that my children had lost at their former school. The motivation to learn comes from within rather than from expectation of a certain grade, and thus becomes a natural thing for them in later years. It amazes me every day how much fun they have learning. The principal is wonderful, communication is better than we've ever experienced at any other school in Waco, and the community of students, parents, and teachers leaves us wondering why we waited so long...our kids are loved and nurtured here and we have a voice equal to all other parents. Most important, perhaps, is that my kids love the school, too. You'll find great kids here, good diversity, lasting friendships, and a wonderful foundation for your kids' future.
