Liberty Academy

We LOVE this school! Transferred from our local public elementary and it was a BIG step up in academics, which is my priority. The administration has vision, the experienced and national-award-winning principal hires very well, the teachers are excellent, the curriculum is solid and ambitious, and the class sizes are small. I'm still doing cartwheels about a 5th grade class with only 19 students! Can't get near that anywhere else in Nebo district. The small classes allow for creativity and so much more attention per pupil. Can't say enough good. I love that 6th grade gets a middle school structure and curriculum. Love that secondary kids have the same campus and same schedule as elementary kids. Love the Core Curriculum, the Saxon Math, and the approach to teaching reading. Love the full day kindergarten program with fabulous teachers. Love that one of those fabulous teachers recognized my son's gift for math and sent him to a 1st grade classroom during math time. They pay attention to your kid at this school! High parent involvement, free group violin and piano lessons, band for 5th grade and up, science club, great friendly culture among kids and parents. 5 stars all the way!

My children have attended Liberty since the first year (four years ago). The staff is excellent! The curriculum is wonderful. We have been very happy so far!
