Best school around. The teachers are amazing, the parent involvement is unbelievable. There are usually 1 parent for every 2 kids on every field trip and there are usually too many parent volunteers. This school is incredible
Park Lane Elementary is a good school. The teachers are good, and my kids really like it. One of the best things about Park Lane is the parental involvement including the PTA. Parents volunteer in their children's classes and within the PTA's activities. I wish there were more extracurricular activities, including language and music, but I wouldn't pull my kids from this school because of that.
Our children have attended Park Lane Elementary school for less than a year. We have been impressed by the number of parents that are assisting our teachers and students in the classrooms. In our second grader's classroom, the teacher (with parent help) tests each student separately each Friday on their own custom spelling list. We have enjoyed seeing our children challenged academically and physically. Park Lane Elementary has been the State Presidential Fitness Award Winner for ten years. At the end of the last school year we enjoyed a very impressive assembly to celebrate this accomplishment with Governor John Huntsman Jr. and the Jazz Bear. Although our children are not yet old enough to benefit from the school music program we have heard good things about it. Our children look forward to participating when they are old enough. We are very pleased with this school.
