Awful school. Some teachers are great but they are the exception, not the rule. The arts programs get smaller every year until some classes are canceled altogether. My concurrent enrollment math class is terrified that not enough people will sign up for calculus and it will be canceled; there is only one class that will feed into calc and it is already quite small. Only one AP class is offered because it's the only one that enough people signed up for to keep running. This school is a trap for students who care and an annoying parent-necessitated evil for students who don't.

Uintah High is an excellent place for a kid to go to school. There are many extracurricular activites and is a good environment to make friends. Teachers are willing to help you and you can get help almost anywhere. 10 out of 10!

I have three children who have graduated from the school and a fourth will graduate next year. All three who have graduated have been prepared to go on to college and have done so. I believe the school does a good job with the students. In addition to doing well academically, they have all had opportunities to participate in well run extra curricular activities (sports, music and drama). Good job staff!

I think that the programs could use work. The sports are GREAT and the music programs are asome but they need funding. The teachers are attentive and care weather you are succesful. The students are not perfect, But hey were you?

I think this a really great school. I went there for 3 years. I am a minority and was never treated unfairly. I played on the girls' basketball team and was involved with other activities as well. They have a great education system.

The quality of academic programs are very well. The students have a wide variety in what courses they want to take. Our music is really good, just look at it, we took state last year and hopefully again this year. Sports, our drill team is way awesome, our wrestling are state competitors along with many others. We have a couple Hisemann trophy canidates. We have over 25 Clubs in our school. As a parent, I always get involved with everything our school offers.

I think that overall most of the teachers try their best to be involved and encourage the students to work. Principal leadership has gone down and I think that it has gotten worse. I think that the school board needs to realize that it is what is best for the students and not just what they think!
