Where to start with this school? We are a military family that moved from a school in Georgia. I would take back the Georgia schools in a second. The first impression of the school came from the very rude secretary in the front office. When we asked about testing our 5th grade daughter for advanced classes her response was "just because she tested good in another area does not mean she will test good here". All I wanted was information, not her opinion. The next impression came when my son returned home and asked me if the principal was really a DR. I explained what a doctorate was then he told me he was yelled at for calling her principal. The bulk of the teachers seem snobby and not willing to work with the kids that are a little different. Great teachers do exist here, but they are few.

My daughter is in second grade, and was recently tested to be reading at the sixth grade level. Recently, every child in school got to write their own book. In my daughters book, she stated that her favorite place to go is Bethel Manor Elementary. I don't think I need to say any more :)

The last school that my son attended made him feel like a failor and it showed on his report cards. Once he started attending Bethal Manor his grades were all A's and B's. This school makes the kids want to succeed and if they need extra help they will work with your child one on one to help them get to where they need to be at. I wish that every time we moved we could take this school with us.

Bethel Manor is an all military school. My child goes there, and I am a board member on the PTA. The teachers and staff there are really wonderful.

Both of my boys have needed a bit of special help (focus is not their strong suit) and the teachers and staff here have been AMAZING. We've had some really bad school experiences but Bethel Manor has been just wonderful.

My daughters both go to this school and have for the past two years, so we've interacted with the kindergarten, first grade, third grade, and fourth grade teachers. All have been excellent. The teachers we've had have been kind, caring, organized and fun. The PTA does a lot of great things for the school. The environment is extremely family friendly. I love that the kids have two 45-minute PE sessions each week, as well as 45 minutes of music and art. There are a lot of extra-curricular activities: science club, fun Fridays, chorus, battle of the books, student council, and so on. The school makes living in mediocre base housing worth while.

I have 3 children at BMES for the last 2 years. I am very happy with how things are going for all of them and the teachers, administrators and helpers all seem very helpful, competent and caring.

My daughter is in 3rd grade and has been going here since kindergarten. The teachers and staff are wonderful, caring and helpful. My daughter has excelled in reading in all subjects. The teachers go out of their way to make sure that your child understands the homework by working with them one on one if you send in a note. The school has a family atmosphere. The PTa is great. Always a big turnout at the pta meeting or any program. The parents, teachers and staff are willing to help out whenever needed. I received help from a teacher who do not teach my daughter. I would highly recommend this school. Also, all teachers are accessible by phone and email and you do not have to make days for a response.

All three of my children went to this school. We moved last year and the children still miss Bethel Manor greatly. It is a wonderful school with wonderful teachers and a great family atmosphere. My children had an excellent education there and I would recommend this school to anyone thinking of sending their child there.
