I love the teachers and stuff. They are very welcoming. My son is "developmentally delayed". I was very worried about how he was going to be treated and how well he was going to do. Now I can not imagine him being in better hands, he has gone from just barely speaking a handful of words ,not really trying to talk and just playing to him to saying trying to say any word you tell him and happily playing with others. The teachers care, they are patient, yet they get the kids to listen without being harsh, and they keep me informed. I'm afraid to move somewhere else because i know my son is being taken care of and you never know what your going to get at another school.

We moved to King William five years ago from a county where the school system was excellent. I was concerned that Cool Springs would not meet my son's educational needs. My concerns were quickly demished once my son started Kindergarten. The teachers are awesome and the staff is wonderful. I hope all the schools in King William are as good as Cool Springs.

Very good school for a small county. Excellent teachers and resources for students and parents.

It all depends on the teacher your child has. My second grader finished the 2005-2006 school year not having the math skills needed for third grade. My kindergartner finished knowing (2006-2007) many of the things his sister was just getting the hang of.

Many schools say that they meet the learning needs of each child. Unfortunately many of them don't. I have to say this is an excellant school and they really do meet each child's learning needs. My son is very gifted and schools that we have had him in had no programs that fit his hungar for education. Cool Spring is the first school to test him and offer him many options. The option that we chose was to keep him with his age group of friends and an advance teacher came in to his classroom weekly and worked with him on higher levels of learning. We chose that option because he is a child and needs to be a child while he still can. But at the same time his learning needs are met without the possibility of feeling overwelmed if we were to place him in a gifted school.
