George Carr Round Elementary School

I have two children at this school and couldn't be happier. The environment at the school is very positive, the scores are high, teachers have long careers there, etc. IMO, this school stands alongside any western Prince William County school. (Especially when you compare class sizes and overall school population size.) Highly recommend.

My child is a 2nd grader at Round and we love his school. The ratios are low (only 18 in his class!) and the teachers are excellent. The principal, Mr. Durko, has been at the school for 20+ years and has built an extraordinary team. They have put an emphasis on science and partner with local technology companies (Lockheed Martin, Micron, BAE) on projects like science nights and the Lego Future Engineers club. We highly recommend this school.

Our family is very happy with G.C. Round Elementary. The teachers and faculty are excellent. There is very little teacher turnover there, which says a lot. They have many extracurricular clubs and student participation is encouraged at all ages. The student body population is well-sized and the are committed to helping each child to do their best. My child loves it there.

My son attends Round, the teachers and administrators are wonderful. They truly care about the kids and their education. Miss Stephens was my son's first grade teacher and she is the best teacher I ever seen.
