Terraset, it's community, staff, and PTA are top notch. With such a small population, the classrooms tend to be so much smaller than the surrounding schools. My son has had such amazing teachers every year, we know that this is just the right school for our family. I can not say enough about the leadership of the administration and the relationship that they have with the community. And our PTA... what an amazing group of parents that go above and beyond for the staff and students. We love Terraset!
My family has been part of the Terraset Community for nearly four years. It is wonderful. The teachers, parents, adminsitration and environment all enable a positive learning experience. My daughter skips off to school every day with eager anticipation. Terraset offers a wide variety of academic, cultural and lifestyle opportunities in both its standard curriculum and enrichment programs... honestly, you couldn't ask for more!
This school is a gem. A small school with an amazing and dedicated team of educators. Wonderful sense of community for the students and parents. Fabulous PTA. So proud to be a Terraset family.
Terraset is a small school with low teacher to student ratios. There is a real sense of community where learning, mutual respect and fun are the focus. The multi-cultural nature of the Washington area and thus this school, offers a rich experience for the students.
Because of this school's small size, students are more than just numbers, but individuals who are known by everybody from the principal all the way down to the cafeteria workers. Because this school has a high rate of students that qualify for free and reduce lunch, the principal is extremely dedicated to ensuring that the school has the necessary funding to make sure all students in this school are able to have all the educational opportunities they need. I am proud to be a Terraset Parent!
Terraset is the best kept secret in Fairfax County! It is a small school with small class sizes. Terraset's teachers, their love for their students and the Parent Teacher Association are it's greatest assest. Extra curricular academic activities such as Math Night, Language Arts/Social Studies Night, and Science Fair illustrate the high quality of education offered at Terraset. Afterschool programs reinforce those high expectations as well. My kids and I have benefitted greatly by attending Terraset Elementary School.
Terraset is a quiet success story in Reston. It is a small school, with small classes and a great student to teacher ratio. Its biggest asset by far is the staff -teachers, administrators, and resouce teachers love their Terraset children. They are totally committed to challenging each student to do their best. The children at Terraset are learners in every sense of the word - and they show what they know at frequent academic evenings- Math Night, Science Fair and Language Arts ngiht - which are always packed with parents and grandparents. My son is happy and learning - what more could I ask for?! Terraset is a success story- and all the children there have theiir own success stories to tell.
My two children are challenged and thriving at Terraset ES. Terraset is a diverse neighborhood school filled with outstanding teachers, a top notch administration, and supportive families. In addition to the excellent academic programs, Terraset offers many extracurricular activities, from chess and Lego clubs to tennis. Terraset's art, music and PE programs are outstanding. I am confident that my children will leave Terraset as well educated and well rounded citizens.
