i am a student and i was their for my 6th and 7th grade year. there was SO much bullying, drugs and achahol, ect.! this is the worst school i have ever been or heared about! My father did not want to send me here but we had no choice. The electives and the elective teachers are the only great thing in this school. Teachers are the rudest people. Vice principal is rude, cruel, and VERY disrespectfull! Kids get made fun of all the time! Way to many fights to be in middle school. My opinon is they need to shut this school down, get new teachers and find other ways to teach. I worked super hard and got f's,d's, or c's. On the other hand, some teachers are really suportive and help aton! But some teachers will cuss ou out, try to hit you, flunk you, scream in your face, and ect.! WORST SCHOOL EVER!

My daughter just finished the 8th grade at this school. She really enjoyed going to Shelburne. When she first transferred to this school they did not have an honors program but they got one in place by the next year. She will continue on in honors classes when she starts the next school year as a freshman at R.E. Lee Highschool.

My son was in a car accident this year and the faculty and students were amazing!! The priciple came to my house with a basket of stuff for my son. They tutored him afterward to catch him back up, staying after hours and tutoring him on lunch. The students have also been supportive. You could not ask for a better school. mom of an 8th grader

I love Shelburne! My son has grown so much not only in academics, but other activities. He is in the band, jazz band, plays and the National Jr honor society. Mr. Fletcher is the best!
