Fabulous school! Teachers are intune with the children. The overall support at the school is great too. I highly recommend this elementary school.
Great school. My grandchild attends. Parents/grandparesnts are welcome to help in the school. It is a wonderful school overall.
My daughters attend this school. I'm continually impressed with the professionalism of the teachers and staff. My daughters teachers have gone above and beyond for them on many occasions. My girls love school. I am confident that this is one of the best schools available to my girls.
Kempsville Elementary is a wonderful school and it grieves me to read the one disgruntled parent remark. It's so not reflective of the whole. KES has a solid commited team of professional educators who successfully educate and inpsire our chidren daily. I am very pleased with this school.
My daughter has been going to this school and I absolutely love it. The teachers are very dedicated and work well with the students. I always feel confident about sending her to school everyday!
Kempsville Elementary School has a fantastic group of teachers and parents who work together synergistically to develop the best education environment for the children. I am thrilled to be a part of the school and would strongly recommend Kempsville Elementary to anyone looking for a top of the line school dedicated to the development of excellent students - both academically and socially.
This school has had 3 principals in as many years. We got lucky with the last one, but the current one 2007-2008 is constantly making reference to her former school and the way that they did things. She is changing year long traditions and mediocrity. Morale among the staff is at an all time low and it is obvious. The parents do not have a voice and the school has become watered down. It is my opinion that the VA. Beach School Board does not care about the children and the parents (who pay their salaries) and they are putting in administrators who could care less too. What a shame and utter disappointment. Send your children to Birdneck where the principal cares.
