My daughter has been going to Courthouse since she was 3 years old. She has always enjoyed being there and it's mostly because the teachers and staff are wonderful. They really look out for the kids and the kids feel safe and loved. The education she has received at Courthouse has always been at a higher level than she would receive at Public school. She has had amazing teachers from Mrs. Kimmie, Mrs Joy, Mrs. Lisa and now Mrs Liz. The Spanish teachers have also been amazing. We love Ms. Rochely and Mrs Fanny.Every teacher she has had has worked with us in helping her develop academically. My son is also at Courthouse and he has been there since he was 3 months old. I worried about him because he has food allergies and wasn't sure how they would handle that situation. They have been amazing, the teachers always communicate with me if they are doing an activity that involves food to ensure that he will be ok before they have him participate. He is only 2 but has learned so much from his teachers because they actually teach him stuff. I can't say nothing but great things about Courthouse. I can assure you that you would not regret sending your kids to this school. I can go to work and rest easy knowing that my kids are getting top notch education and that they are safe.

My son is in the infant room. Everything is always clean and extremely organized. They go above and beyond to care for my son and they even do arts and crafts with him! The staff make a point to learn all of the children's names and make the school feel like a warm welcoming environment. I wouldn't trust my son with anyone else the way I trust them! They are the best!!!

My daughter is currently in 1st grade but has been a student of Courthouse Academy's since she has 2. She as always looked forward to coming to school and I believe it's because of the warm, caring and fun environment the teachers and staff provide at Courthouse. She's always loved her teachers, especially Ms Meaghan, Maestra Jamily, Ms Liz and Maestra Fanny. These teachers are truly focused on the advancement of the kid's education and they teach in fun and creative ways that make it effective for the kids to retain what they've learned. She always came home with exciting news to share about what she's learned that her little brother could not wait to go to school. This year, our son is in Pre-K and because of all the wonderful stories our daughter shared with him, he adjusted quite well and was just ready to learn like his sister. Our son loves his teachers Ms Joy and Maestra Michelle. They are attentive to all the students and truly care about their academic developments. They are very kind and patient, which you need when teaching 4 year olds, but mostly, they are compassionate people who love what they do because they're great at it. Thank you Courthouse Academy for the environment and education you provide!

I haven't seen or heard of any cases regarding bullying because I believe the staff at this school teaches the kids how to respect and be kind to each other. Bullying, I'm sure, is never tolerated.

Effective school leaders: Strongly agree

The Director at this school, Julia Salmon, knows all the kids and their parents and is always very involved. She has a big heart and it shows.

Teacher effectiveness: Strongly agree

The way the teachers give their lessons here is very effective because they use fun ways of learning with the kids by utilization of colors, different illustrated worksheets, props/toys, and even songs. My kids are always excited to come to school and learn new things.

Supports LD students: Strongly agree

The teachers at this school can identify when a child needs additional attention and they are great about showing their care for those students by spending extra time with them.

Courthouse academy definitely focuses in on respecting each other and treating each other kindly.

Amount of homework: Agree

Homework is given Monday - Thursday which I appreciate because it develops the study habits they will need as they get older.

Handles bullying effectively: Strongly disagree

We have not had to deal with this at Courthouse Academy. Each child is taught to love and respect one another and bullying is not tolerated.
