DC Bilingual is a great bilingual dual immersion program. The literacy focus of teaching students how to read, write and communicate in both Spanish and English is top notch. The principal Wanda Perez and her management team and teachers are excellent and held to high standards. Each year gets better and better! The parent community cares about the school and their kids learning and involvement increases each year as well. My kids are very happy at the school!
This is a great school. I went to private school growing up and I think that this is a better education and is bilingual.
Great dual immersion (Spanish) program which uses the 50/50 model. Excellent director who is always willing and able to respond to concerns about teachers, curriculum etc. The population is getting more diverse which is great. Teaching standards vary from classroom to classroom which is true in any school. Our children are happy there. The location can be a pain with so much traffic congestion, but they do have traffic directors during drop off and pick up. Parent involvement is increasing every year.
Great dual immersion school that is Pre-K 3 - 4th grade. Wanda Perez is excellent. Teachers are getting better and are kept to very high teaching standards. Facility is very nice although a bit cramped.
