In response to the poster from 2/2014....Having white students does not make nor will it make this school better. As a former teacher of this school I can agree with the opinion that the Principal is ineffective. He was too busy trying to be cool with the students while making conditions for teachers horrible. He even shared with the students that his girlfiiend when he was young had terminated a pregnancy. Talk about TMI. I hated every moment at this school. The way the special education students were treated was against federal regulations and complaints were made. However, no one ever followed up with them. I wouldn't recommend this school but I do feel every child deserves a quality education. Good leaders strengthen good teachers. Leadership at this school needs adjustment before any improvement will take place. I'm glad I was able to find employment with another district.

I work here and it's challenging. Most of the students don't value a good education. A handful of them do and I find them delightful. However I would never send my children here lest they pick up terrible discipline problems. The principal is not effective at protecting the teachers from mental and possibly physical damage. This school is not very diverse. There are no white students. The extracurricular program is non existent. Sports is a big focus here not academics. I would transfer out of here if they allowed me to. Maybe in five years when they get some Caucasian students it will improve and a new principal.
