i rate this school 2 stars only because since school started we've only been moved around by the staff from class to class! We signed our child up for K before the last school year was over in order to secure a spot in this excellently rated public school and also so that we would have a chance to meet the Teacher and view the class room. We loved what we saw and were comfortable in sending our son there. Only a wk into school we recieved a call saying we needed to change from am to pm class (new teacher) because they'd had an influx of new students after the school year started even though we were signed up first we were told WE needed to change. 3 wk later w/o our permission they moved him to a dif class/new teacher by the 5th-6th graders. Not happy. Leaving.

Quality of Academic Programs: The teachers are well-trained. They take great care in helping the students who need extra help, and make the learning fun and interesting to the student. They have music. An art docent which has been quite wonderful. Honestly, I haven't noticed extracurricular activities (that just may be that my son was not interested in what they have). The parent involvement is quite high. I see numerous parents who help out in the classrooms, the PTA, the office, etc....
