I am a current student here @ GFMS and I love it. The teachers are caring and thorough with what they teach. I love how every couple months we have the Black and Orange Games. It gets everyone involved and trust me, It's fun. :) They have Intervention classes and Advanced classes. The staff does pay attention to the common issues middle schoolers face these days (bullying, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, etc) It's a good school and I hope It will stay that way in the future. :)

My child's transition from grade school to Granite Falls Middle School was a good experience overall for him. He was placed in an advanced math class which was very beneficial and he was given a planning period which he could use to do homework or work on school projects. I have been very impressed with this school district academically since Kindergarten. Overall, the school adminstration seems to be very aware of the challenges facing kids today and they have addressed issues such as drug and alcohol abuse head on. I feel my child is receiving a good, well-rounded education.
