Beach School is more than just a school, it is a community. It has three multi age classrooms, serving children grades K-6. Creativity abounds allowing every child to find their niche. Teachers make sure each child reaches their potential. Although this is a small isolated community Beach School is academically successful with alumni who have gone on to become National Merit Scholars and Rhodes Scholars. Thank you Beach School.

A wonderful gift to our children. Beach Elementary School is a small rural school on an Island. Their Middle School is off the Island and many miles away. The middle school teachers there say Beach School kids stand out in the crowd. They can be spotted because they are generally more respectful, self confident and friendly kids who like and engage adults, academically think learning is fun and usually are a grade or 2 ahead of their peers. Thank you Beach School. These are the gifts that will help them succeed in today's world.

Beach is a great school for many reasons. The best is how the classes are situated. We have 3 classrooms that incompass grades K-6. This means that each class has more than one grade in it. This is great for the kids as there is always older children to mentor the younger ones. The teachers are excellent and there is a large amount of support from the community

My daughter has been going to this elementary school since kindergarten and I have been very happy with the caring involved teachers and the academics. I have heard other kids who have moved on to the Ferndale middle school complain that the middle school that they are now attending is teaching them stuff that they already learned at Beach school. If there is anything that needs to be improved it is the middle schools in the town of Ferndale itself.
