We have attended Maya for two years. My daughter has had Mrs. Marone for her teacher. This school has been GREAT and Mrs. Marone is FANTASTIC! Last year the principal had issues - but this year the new principal is GREAT! The entire staff has a new great attitude and the school is doing great! The teachers do have way too much on their plate - and how they find time to actually 'teach' is beyond me. But they do and do it in great fashion. This school has a poor score- but it is based on the stupid WASL. That test should be burned - so rest assured that this school is FAR greater than the great schools rating shows!
