We couldn't BR any happier than we are with Tilden as a school for our two boys. Tilden has brought out the best in our kids and has turned them into engaged learners. What an incredible school and community. The best education value in the city!
It's not an exaggeration to say we love Tilden. Academics are the primary focus, and with the spectacularly low student teacher ratio every student is understood and challenged according to their individual rate of progress. Music, art, Spanish, PE and other disciplines are woven into the core day many times a week. The teachers are incredibly talented, the leadership is stellar, and the entire school is thoughtfully organized. But the best part of Tilden's program may be the social learning that happens at recess. There are always several teachers on hand to guide students in play and social development, issue resolution and confidence building. Well worth the investment.
The individualized instruction offered at Tilden School has kept both of our kids challenged and interested. Amazing school!
Amazing school filled with rock-star teachers and a tight-knit community of parents. Principal and 2nd/3rd grade teacher Whitney loves the children, knows them all by name and all of the families. Highly recommend this school.
