Band is no longer offered at this school. The parents need to be more involved with the school system.

Our family [has] had bullying problems at this school that was not imediatly adressed. There are some very, very, good teachers here that work hard and care greatly about the children and are very good at what they do. On the flip side, there are some teachers that do not care, do not teach, bend the rules, and pick on students. Their classes are chaotic and hurtful to some students in that they don't learn anything because they are teaching nothing and also because of the negative environment. This is a very poverty stricken area so it seems to attract some of the best teachers, teachers who want to make a difference, and then those teachers that cannot get hired anywhere else.
