I am not a fan of this school. I feel like they do not spend enough time working on actual learning. After comparing with parents who have kids in other schools, the difference is astounding when it comes to material, learning levels, parent communication, and expectations. After reviewing their MSP scores it's no wonder, in 3rd grade only 20% of the students are at reading grade level. They need to do something about their academics program. I am going to be taking my child out of this school.
my experience for my two childrens first year at larchmont has been a positive one. i was an active volunteer and there are alot of great parents who put alot of work into the activities that are done and the pta president is just an outstanding woman. i have been very pleased with my childrens teachers and feel that they have made academic progress that shows and exuberates when they prove it.
