I am so proud to call Cornerstone Christian Academy the school of choice for my very precious kids. The return on investment pays dividends one cannot measure--academic excellence with God in the center of everything. The instruction is delivered by dynamic teachers who are passionate about what they do. Most view technology in the classroom as a distraction...not so here! I have witnessed the brilliant use of iPads, for example, to engage students in new and meaningful ways. Finally, as a parent, it feels so good refreshing that our children are "known". Yes, really known. Teachers and staff are keenly aware of where each child is at in their progression through life and academics. The feedback and communications parents receive is very healthy and regular...newsletters and personalized emails keep us apprised of current events and calls to action. Please consider a tour of the facilities and ask to meet with faculty and staff. You will see the "fruit" visibly on display. Armand S.

We have been attending Cornerstone for 7 years and have been with them through the good times and the bad. Over the past 2 years with the current administrative staff I have witnessed such dramatic growth in achieving excellence in ALL area's of Cornerstone Christian Academy. The staff and parent volunteers clearly have such an amazing love for all the students and families they see everyday, and care so deeply for their academic, personal, and spiritual growth. We truly are a school who first and foremost loves our Lord, and because of that love, we are a strong community and family that walks through life together.

The opportunity for my children to attend Cornerstone has been invaluable! The diversified academic teaching is outstanding, allowing my kids to grow beyond that which is "expected." The spiritual support, Biblical world view, and Jesus-centered lens through which each subject is taught shows them how to grow up to live Christ-centered lives...and is changing their hearts for eternity.

Cornerstone Christian Academy has been a huge part of my family's life over the years! We are blessed daily with the encouragement, support and excellent teaching this school provides. Year after year we are engaging in relationship with our teachers and all of the faculty that is available to the students and to us as parents as well. The teachers are educated beyond any traditional degree and it shows! I would easily and without reservation recommend Cornerstone to any family that seeks to have a God based foundation for their children and who want only the highest quality of education that they provide.

Cornerstone Christian is an outstanding school! My three kids attend Cornerstone, and I could not be happier. The community is like a family and the teachers are excellent. I love the biblical integration into every subject, and the love of Christ is evident in every classroom. I see my kids excelling spiritually and academically. I also like that the school has such high safety ratings. I can't imagine my kids going to any other school. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CORNERSTONE CHRISTIAN!!

My two daughters have received amazing education, have grown spiritually and have enjoyed great friendships while attending Cornerstone Christian Academy for the past 5 years. Most of the teachers here are truly passionate about teaching! In the last two years, the superintendent and the principles have been very approachable and willing to address any concerns that families have. I very much appreciate the school's focus on continually training the teachers to become better at what they do. More than anything, I appreciate all the teachers and staff of walking along our family and helping my husband and I to build Christ character in our children!

Cornerstone Christian Academy is the school in Clark County for your child to experience an education that is Christ-centered, that far exceeds even the highest academic standards, and has a family environment where your child will be loved. We have been involved with the CCA staff for 10 years and have watched it grow into a mature, experienced, highly-trained community of professionals committed to excellence, to our children, and to Jesus. There is no other school in Clark County that we would want our kids to be at

All three of my children attend Cornerstone Christian School. This school goes above and beyond my expectations. The superintendent and principals are incredible. Every question I've addressed with them has been handled immediately. My kids love going to school every day. It's the best feeling to drop off your kids at a place that they love. I couldn't be happier with this school. I plan on sending my kids here throughout their education. And now that they are building a high school, I will be able to send them to high school as well!

We have been a Cornerstone family for 4 years. My daughter began in preschool and is now in the 3rd grade. My 3 year old son has attended since 3 months old. Each year the school continues to grow in positive ways. As a parent there are many opportunities for involvment and there is an open door policy with Cornerstone teachers and leadership. I can not imagine having my kids in any other school as they are receiving a high quality education and learning about the love of God and how to spread God's love to others. Cornerstone has a vision for the future and I look forward to many more years of being part of the Cornerstone family.

Our family has had a wonderful start to a brand new school year at Cornerstone! Our kids love their teachers and already feel comfortable in their new settings. Thank you to our new superintendent and elementary principle for making us feel confident about our decision to choose Cornerstone.

Our daughter has attended three Christian schools. Our experiences at Centralia Christian and Portland Christian were overwhelmingly awesome, our brief exposure to Cornerstone delivered immeasurable grief and heartache for our child and my family. We were very disappointed in the administration s responses to bullying, theft, and disparate treatment between the teachers children and the rest of the kids. Every time we brought these things to staff's attention the problem escalated. Maybe it's a great school for those families who never experience problems requiring administrative intervention but the philosophy at that level sure wasn't working for our family.

My wife and I chose to send our 6 year-old daughter to Cornerstone. We found the school s philosophy to be very legalistic and rigid, and administrative staff to be idealess managers instead of age-appropriate, encouraging leaders. For example, on two occasions our daughter came home with a barrette that belonged to somebody else and a rock. In both cases, the principal accused her of stealing and moved to expel her. I had to reach out to the school s superintendent twice before finally throwing in the towel and moving our daughter to Portland Christian mid-year. Then the principal promised us a prorated refund within a week. In the second week it took three phone calls and two emails to finally secure it. In the end, we concluded that the principal was more interested in being right than he was in actually helping solve the problems we brought to his attention

Cornerstone is a really great school. My daughter began in the pre-k class in early education and is now in kindergarten. She absolutely loves it. The teachers are excellent and have great communication. My daughter has grown so much academically and socially and I couldn't imagine her going to school anywhere else!

We have been attending Cornerstone for 3 years now... and are extremely happy! The emphasis on the Lord is what will bring us back year after year. Our 3rd grader is happy and doing well academically... but more importantly our 6th grader is experiencing a safe, fun, and Godly Middle School! I could not imagine sending either child anywhere else!

We've had nothing but trouble with this school. My daughter's 1st grade class was reviewing Kindergarten work for the first 2 1/2 months. She was very bored and unchallenged. When I complained, I was told some of the other kids needed the refresher and my daughter would just have to "deal with it". We experienced many more problems that we had hoped to avoid by not enrolling in a public school. Very poor teacher relations and even worse with the principal. He seemed more interested in us not taking up his time then working with us. I would not recommend this school to anyone.

We chose Cornerstone Christian Preschool for our 4 year old after looking at several preschool/daycare's in the area. We have had nothing but a great experience. They have a great program, incorporating a structured learning environment, hands on opportunities, loving staff, and although we are not the typical church going family, the religious aspect is perfect for him, teaching him both about religion and compassion and kindness. He is extremely energetic, and is bright and very charismatic, we trully have found the perfect match for him. The teaching staff is extremely patient, they are safe and provide wonderful instruction. He started not being able to recognize letters or numbers and within a month, he is writing his name, and his letter and number recognition is astounding. We are very happy with Cornerstone.

This will be our third year at Cornerstone. We chose this school with great promise that our daughter who is above average would be challenged. During the Kindergarden year the school brought in an excelerated program that allowed the children to work at their own pace, while at the same time allowing the teachers to see were each child was individually. Many parents were very excited and happy with the program. The next year the program was gone. Since then there has been nothing challenging those who need to be challenged. Leaving quite a few children bored. This is not what we were promised and not what we expect from a private school. We love the staff and dont wish to pull our daughter away from an excellent christian based school. However, she or any other child should not be held back due to poor academic programs.

I have had nothing but problems with staff short comings, excuse after excuse on issues that would make this statement way to long. One issue that kept happening is why my 4 year old child has been picked up soaking wet, so wet that he is soaked through a 'water proof' ski jacket to his t-shirt being wet, his pants and shoes soaked through to his skin. When it was only 40 degrees out, he and about 10 other children were let to ride tricycles and play out in the rain. When asked why the staff replied'they want too, the shoes will take them were they will take them...' This was one of over 6 occurances just with my child. This facility has a new director this year and we hoped this program would improve. It is all about money with cornerstone. Do yourself a favor and go
